She is responsible for identifying, targeting and acquiring new clients, and overseeing all relationships with current and prospective clients throughout the region.
“Cris brings more than 20 years of experience in the credit union industry, on both the business development and regional branch manager sides,” said Eric Wikander, President of IWS. “She has demonstrated an ability to build business among new and existing customers, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. She also knows what credit union executives need from their partners like IWS to meet their long-term lending, income and sales development goals.”
Prior to joining IWS, Petykowski served as Business Development Account Manager with Andigo, formerly Motorola Employees Credit Union (MECU). She not only conceived and led programs that generated new business, she also worked to raise awareness and money for charitable organizations. For example, she helped create and direct a one-day loan-refinance event that generated over $3.5 million in new loan originations and enabled MECU to donate $25,000 and nearly 500 pounds of food to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Before moving into business development, Petykowski served as Regional Manager, managing operations and staff of seven MECU branches. Her list of accomplishments includes creating a sales training program that drove a 75 percent increase in sales of all credit life and disability products over the previous year.
