Shawn Murphy to manage Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Region; Dan Roth to manage Midwest Region
Boca Raton, Fla. (Jan. 20, 2015) – IWS Acquisition Corporation (IWS) announces that industry experts Shawn Murphy and Dan Roth have joined the firm in the newly created positions of Business Development Executive for the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions, respectively. Based in Philadelphia, Murphy will manage IWS client/prospective client relationships in the greater northeastern states; Roth, who will work out of Chicago, will manage in the IWS relationships in the Midwestern and upper plains states.

Hawk says Murphy is an industry veteran, having served in both credit unions and their trade group.
“Shawn comes to us with considerable experience in credit union and consumer lending sales leadership, which includes working with various credit union leaders at the League and Chapter level,” Hawk said. “He has a broad background in credit union business development, operations, underwriting and compliance; extensive auto lending product knowledge and existing executive-level credit union relationships throughout the northeast. This will further enhance IWS’ strong partnerships in the credit union community.”
Roth’s background includes 25 years in auto lending-related products and programs.
“Dan has worked with top finance and insurance (F&I) firms such as Western Diversified/Protective Life, AON Resource Automotive Group and APCO’s EasyCare brand,” said Hawk. “He’s a unique business development executive with vast experience in direct target marketing and joint-venture of vehicle service agreement (VSA) and guaranteed asset protection (GAP) programs – experience we expect to leverage at the deepest level with top-performing credit unions throughout the central United States. Add to that his facility developing relationships at the executive level and Dan will surely enhance our Midwest credit union relationships and partnerships.”
